Temporary Closure Notice

We regret to inform our customers that Poole Earwax is currently required to pause services while we complete our Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration.

This is a temporary measure, and we are actively working through the registration process as a priority so that we can reopen as soon as we are permitted to do so. Patient safety, compliance, and high standards of care have always been central to our service, and we fully support the CQC’s regulatory framework.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Updates will be shared as soon as we are able to confirm a reopening date.

If you have an existing booking or enquiry, please contact us directly and we will be happy to assist.

Thank you for your patience.

Your appointment

What to expect

Your consultation will last up to 20 minutes and will involve a full assessment prior to treatment, earwax removal and recommendations for ongoing care

Prior to your appointment

I recommend that you use olive oil drops for 3 days prior to your appointment to soften any earwax.  If you are unable to do this please let me know on the day or call prior to your appointment.

Equipment

I use similar equipment that you would expect to see if you were having a consultation in a hospital.  I use a surgical ENT microscope and this enables me to examine your ear under a high magnification with binocular vision enabling good depth perception.  I also use a suction machine to gently remove the earwax, at times it may be more appropriate to use other instruments such as wax hooks or forceps to gently remove earwax and I would discuss this with you during the procedure.
