John Kerslake-Smith MSc Advanced Nurse Practitioner
I have been working in the speciality of ear, nose and throat (ENT) for the last 14 years in the NHS. I am currently employed as an ENT advanced nurse Practitioner treating 100's of people on a weekly basis for the NHS. With the withdrawal of services for earwax removal I wanted to ensure that individuals had access to the same high quality service I have always provided at a competitive price
Hannah Light MSc Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Hannah is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, currently working within the ENT team in the NHS. She has been working within the speciality for 7 years and completed a master’s in advanced clinical practice in June 2025 with Bournemouth University. With extensive experience in ENT, she has developed a deep appreciation of the impact that issues, such as ear wax build-up can have on patients’ quality of life, from hearing loss, discomfort and social withdrawal. Her decision to join Poole Earwax Clinic stems from a genuine desire to provide accessible, efficient, and evidence-based aural care.
Tracy Veal MSc Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Tracy is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with 25 years experience working in the NHS. She Completed her MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice 2023. Tracy has developed in depth understanding of ear health and its essential role in overall well-being whilst working in ENT for the last 10 years. Her goal is to provide people with clear hearing, peace of mind, and a positive clinical experience.
Laura Kerslake-Smith Clinic Manager/ Admin lead
Laura is the co-founder of Poole earwax clinic limited and ensures that the clinic runs smoothly on a day to day basis. Laura has a breadth of experience dealing with people from her 24 years working in the NHS in various roles. She currently works on reception, greeting customers and taking bookings.
